An industry insider with close ties to key decision makers, Friedman provides her clients with access to high-profile brands and influential media outlets. Among her recent achievements is a partnership between NBC’s top-rated show “The Biggest Loser” and Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village and its California Health & Longevity Institute. Based on her longstanding relationships with the show’s producers, Friedman facilitated a strategic introduction and partnership that resulted in the hotel being seen in millions of television households across America. She was also instrumental in putting together co-branding efforts between Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and beauty care lines from Kate Somerville Skin Health, Ajne Parfumerie & Apothecary and Liquid Architecture.
The Friedman Group helped put the Giffoni International Film Festival and Maui Film Festival on the map, utilizing Friedman’s ability to book appearances from top talent and filmmakers. Many charitable organizations have also benefited from Friedman’s in-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry and her extensive relationships with agents, managers, publicists and the press. Her role as talent producer for A Time for Heroes, a celebrity fundraising carnival benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, led to the participation of 165 celebrities and the raising of $1.3 million.
Friedman began her career in talent relations, working with HBO and King World Productions to secure talent for such entities as “Hollywood Squares” and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, before moving into talent management at Lovett Management. Her early experience as Director of the American Film Market (AFM), for which she oversaw annual production of the world’s largest international motion picture trade event, also helped Friedman forge lifelong relationships with A-list talent and top industry executives.
Off the clock, Friedman devotes her time to supporting the efforts of the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation and the Dream Foundation, both of which seek to improve the quality of life for children and adults suffering with debilitating illnesses.
